The first tracks have already been laid at tram depot 5
Intensive reconstruction works continue in the territory of the tram depot 5 of Rīgas satiksme, where 12 switches and tracks with a total length of 1 kilometre have already been built. The project is also actively involved in the construction of concrete structures for the tram repair pits, plastering of the interior walls, installation of roof structures and concreting of the floors.
At the same time, the construction of internal utilities, external electrical networks, water supply, sewerage networks and energy supply systems is being carried out. The works are progressing smoothly and the project is on schedule, ensuring the modernisation of the infrastructure for a better quality public transport service in Riga.
